Lovely morning. Don came to meet me again. Went to the Battersea Park in the evening. Allottment [sic] coming on ok.

Left work at four & mum persuaded me to go to the doctors. Went over the allottment [sic] later. Felt quite hungry when I got home.

Slept late. Got up & went over the allotment with Dad. Had dinner. Don came over. Had our tea & went to the Gaumont. Enjoyed the films for a change.

Another lovely day. Sin to be at work. Went over the allotment in the evening.

Went to the London Pavilion with Freddie. Quite a good programme. Got him over the allotment. Age of miracles has not passed.

Went over allotment in afternoon. Rang Freddie in evening.

Went to allotment in the morning. Went for a walk with Mum & Hilda in evening.

Went to allotment in afternoon. Freddie & Elsie & baby came round. Went out for a drink then went to Aunt Mary’s.

Got up late. Went to pictures in afternoon. Mum & dad went on allottment.

Stopped in all day. Mum & Dad went digging.

Got up late. Went over allotment with Mum & Dad in afternoon.
